Have you ever golfed at a Raleigh Golf Course? I recently golfed at a few quick trip to the city. I must say, I was quite impressed. There was a lot of fantastic things that this city lens to a golf course. The natural lay of the land is quite Splendid indeed, and I must say that the weather is actually quite perfect for golf for a lot of the year. There are a lot of great golf courses in the country, but the climates in the Southeastern quadrant of the United States of America is rather ideal for a game of golf for most of the year.
This is a rare and beautiful quality and one of my favorite things about the state of North Carolina. I’ve been thinking a lot about retirement lately, and I really think that I am going to have a hard time spending my Winters up north in a cold climate. I look at the birds who fly south in the winter, and I see that Trend recurring in many populations of Elders throughout the states. I never thought I’d be one of those senior citizens who fly south for the winter, but more and more I am considering this as a legitimate possibility. The City of Raleigh North Carolina treated my wife and I excellently. It was not just the golf, but it was also the cuisine. The food was Exceptional from day one of our trip and I don’t think we had a single bad experience with customer service or anything of the like at any institution or store that we went to. This is quite rare, in my experience, but much less rare in the south of the United States. Southern Hospitality is not a myth, people, it is real and it is welcoming and it is hard to return from; re-entering the northern winter where the air outside is the opposite of inviting and all of those people are just trying to get from point A to point B as expediently as possible. I’m too young now to fly south for the entire winter, and my wife and I– we love our life up here. But, soon my urge to avoid the uncomfortable reality of freezing air, and my burning desire to play golf all year round, I believe, will have me flapping my wings and soaring in the general direction of the Gulf of Mexico.
